Mindfulness & Meditation

Through my experience of working with business owners I have become to realise they are often working under high levels of stress, pressure and unrealistic expectations, resulting in  enormous amounts of toxicity within their business. 

Mindfulness Meditation can be invaluable in managing stress, improving well-being and enhancing performance under pressure, what’s more, you can do it anytime anywhere.  We may not be able to change what’s going on around us or reduce the external sources of stress but we can look at how we approach life and business challenges.

Studies show that regular mindful practices can improve physical well-being, like bolstering the immune system, therefore helping to fight off illnesses and depression.  There are also impressive finding that even short term meditation improves attention and focus. Within the work place it has been shown to reduce stress levels, also mindfulness has been shown to improve communication and decrease the likelihood of burnout.  In particular it is being used to help business owners, leaders and managers, along with their staff to adapt to changing environments, improving decision making and develop new ways of communicating and developing under pressure.
